Sandstone Manor offers their services in a new
facility which was designed to be very much like a large
ranch-style home. Bringing their own furniture completes the
residents feeling of "being at home."
Our residents have the freedom of their own living
space with the addition of a 24 hour awake staff. In addition, an
emergency call system is provided. Our staff is trained to provide
quality care while remaining as non-intrusive as our residents
prefer.
To guarantee that our residents obtain a balanced
diet, each day we offer three nutritional meals, snacks and coffee
times. Meals are home-style and dietician approved. A vegetarian
menu is also available.
We are also on hand to help with bathing, dressing
and grooming. We offer housekeeping and linen service, and will
provide personal laundry service as well.
To help our residents stay in good physical shape,
we offer supervision of medications and other health care needs.
We monitor their vital signs and weight control, and provide
transportation to and from medical appointments. We also offer
bedside care for minor illnesses.
To assist our residents keep a healthy mind, we
provide daily craft activities and games. We have thought
provoking bible studies. Because it is sometimes difficult to dial
a phone or write a letter, we help them to communicate with their
family, friends, and physician.
